Monday Makeup Challenge- Feeling more festive!
20:28:00Evening ladies,
I am so delighted with how my giveaway no.1 is going we are so nearly there with the 1st target of 3000 likes on Facebook I'll be launching giveaway no.2 in no time and then no.3 OMG this is gonna be huge and the gifts haven't stopped arriving just yet!
So back to tonight... Myself and Elaine wanted to do another festive look and when I thought about this one, I was going to go back in with more glitter but I decided to do an easier look, a look I think many of you can do with no fuss!
The highlighter and the pink lippy are key to this look.... I only used two shadows, a peach colour washed all over the lid and then a light brown (both from MakeUp Geek) into the crease, it's a wash of colour to take that pale skin look off my lid. I then applied a short flick gel liner onto the eye and road tested a new mascara the 3D fiber lash mascara from Younique. I have to say for my 1st go I am not that keen but I'll never write it off without giving it a few tries. I expected more from it so that's why I didn't add lashes but as I don't wear them every day naturally I wanted to as I said keep this nice and simple.
My lipstick is a brilliant pink shade from Wet&Wild, you just cannot beat this budget brand for lipsticks they're so pretty and just last ages. My highlighter is the Mary-Lou Manizer from The Balm and this was a gift from none other than Elaine herself which is possibly my fave highlighter ever!! My blusher is a sparkly pink from Inglot and of course so is the liner.
My foundation is one I have been loving lately which is from Rimmel, I really should have set it with a powder as you can I'm a little bit of a disco ball LOL!
Elaine's look is festive to a tee... check out how she created a Christmas tree at either side of her eye, this girl is such a talent and an amazing friend I am one very lucky blogger!! I am not sure if these colours are from her Front Cover glitter set but if any of you ladies come across these sets will you please please let me know, I am dying to get one. Boots usually has them but no sign this year. Her brows are just perfection in this picture and the lashes really set the look off, it's perfect for Christmas and something brown/hazel eyed people would really pull off.
If there are any looks you want to see be it more simple (although lets face it that's the plainest makeup I know) or if you want to see something dramatic, more liner, glitter and lashes then please do let us know. I am trying to think what else I want to try and a little stuck I won't lie to please do get in touch and good luck with all who have entered both mine and Elaine's giveaways!!
