#BOBBlogChallenge Week 2 HairCare Heroes
18:58:00
So here we are on week 2 of the #BOBBlogChallenge and this
week’s topic is Hair saviours. I have been through the mill and back with my
hair over the years, cutting it, dying it, straightening, curling, crimping,
stripping, highlighting ugh you name it!!
I am currently slightly red with long thick hair which is
manageable to a point but I had found in recent times, frizzy broken bits at
the front of my hair and kinda dry scalp…. Not the best way to be but howsever
these things happen.
One thing for my hair I couldn’t be without is my detangle
brush I got in Penney’s for €1.50. I know there are more expensive brands of
this available but every time I wash my hair this is my go to product, I cannot
tame the mane without it, or without a few tears conditioner or not! It really
helps to get out all knots that may be left over from a good scrub. It’s so
inexpensive but a must have I feel for anyone with long or thick hair!
Because my hair is coloured again and I do use a
straightener or curler most days, I’m quite heat conscious so I like to try a
protect my hair as best I can. I like to use this L’Oreal Elnett Satin heat protect styling spray. I used to use an Umberto Giannini Heat Defence spray in a light blue
bottle and I loved this, the smell and the effect on my hair but I can’t see it
anymore so I invested in this Princess Purrfect Hot Styler Spray instead. I like these
sprays because you can use them on dry hair whereas I use the Elnette on my damp
hair before drying with the hair dryer.
These products are pretty much my ‘go to’ products at the
min but I am really looking forward to reading other bloggers loves as I am yet
to find my fave shampoo or conditioner!

ReplyDeleteIt's deffo worth a go... I do prefer putting a spray on my dry hair... I think it's a mental thing but I like to feel my hair is ok from washing and then coat it before I put the heat on it... does that make sense? x
DeleteGreat post! I couldn't be without my Tangle Teezer either. With highlights I don't know how I went so many years without one!
