Happy Monday All,

I was very lucky to link in with Joan from Mememe Cosmetics and we gave away some fab new products! Our winner was Arlene Nolan from Tipperary who will have her prize this week.

I first came across Mememe last month when my fab besties Sinead and Elaine treated me to some fab products for my birthday. I had seen the range for sale in Mulligans chemists Waterford so was really excited to try them, and I had also seen a few reviews from other bloggers with really great reviews.

Sinead had bought me the Aphrodite gift set which contains a beautiful Ruby Rich Lip Cream and a Red Nail Varnish. It was great timing as I had forgotten my lipstick the night of my birthday so I used the Mememe lippy all night. I loved the stain and the colour, it was really comfortable and lasted ages. (even sipping cocktails) The nail varnish is a beautiful deep red colour and again has great strength and lasting power.

I have seen online another lip colour called Berry Crush Lipcream and this is a must have for me this spring/summer.

Another great gift I received from Lainey was the Angels with Halos Skin Illuminator and the Shimmer Stack Gold Illuminating Powder.

I wasn’t too sure what I would do with the skin illuminator because at the moment I am using a lot of powder products but when I read how you can use the illuminator I was very intrigued. I find sometimes with liquid products I worry I will look too shiny and not very dewy at all. I used it on top of my foundation to highlight my cheekbones and it gave me a beautiful dewy bright look on my face. I have read from other bloggers that they have mixed the skin illuminator with their foundation so I am really excited to try this and see how bright I can look.

I then went back over the highlight with the lightest colour on my shimmer stack and the result was beautiful. Perfect for a night out to really highlight your cheekbones and bridge of your nose it looked lovely.

I have also used the bottom half of the shimmer block to contour my face and again I really liked the result. It is slightly shimmery so I don’t think I would use it a lot during the day but when the weather hopefully picks up this summer I think the shimmer brick will always be in my handbag. I think I will be investing in the shimmer stack in bronze to try and contour more but for a day look when I have no tan on and am still quite pale it was perfect.

Mememe is a fantastic make up range and really affordable with the prettiest packaging so I would highly recommend checking them out. I think the shades of lip colours are fantastic and they are producing great products that will suit all skin types and have us all feel fabulous.
