Make-Up Atelier Paris Goodies for review!
21:25:00Hiya Ladies,
I am always so so excited to get my hands on some new products from a range I had heard so much about. It is absolutely a privilege of the hard work I put into my blog to get a chance to try a brand such as Make-Up Atelier Dublin. I have seen so many posts from other bloggers on this range not to mention the amount of MUA's who rave about the foundation so you can imagine how excited I was to receive such a big package of 5 amazing products. You can check out this brand on their own website HERE
Waterproof Liquid Foundation: So of course the 1st product we need to talk about is the waterproof foundation and what better way to test out this foundation than my ice bucket challenge and I can tell you... It worked! My foundation barely moved after having a whole bucket of ice water thrown over my head! The colour I was sent is perfect for when I have tan on and the shade is ?? This foundation retails at €30 for the 30ml so is on par with other higher end brands. I love this foundation. For my combination skin, I do have to set it but that is such common practice now to me that unless you are truly oily, then I see this foundation suiting everyone's skin.
Hi-def Powder: This little pot of brilliance will set you back €17.50 which is a great price for this product, it comes in two sizes but this to me is perfect for the makeup bag you'd bring to town to fix yourself up. The powder has no colour so it wont change the colour of your foundation and I found it fantastic for setting my makeup, not only with my Make-Up Atelier Paris foundation but especially with my lighter consistency foundations just to give my face that real finish. A great feature of this powder is that it mattifies the skin which is exactly what I needed in recent times so this will be a staple in my kit from now on. I would highly recommend this product.
Fluorescent Pigment: This absolutely amazing pigment was gifted to me and I was over the moon! It will be used for a mad night out look in no time and will most definately feature a lot next summer. These loose pigments retails at €16 and is UV responsive (someone take me to a club) This pigment can also be used dry or wet but they do suggest using an eye primer as it can stain the skin, with a tag line like that you know you are in for some serious colour.
Gel Liners x2: Have you seen these colours?? I am all about the coloured liners these days, now that I have invested in 4 different liner brushes I am making it my business to test out loads of colours on my eyes. I feel with the purple and pink, they will add a real pop to a black liner look but adding a line at the edge of my eye on top of the black line. The consistency of both liners is lovely and if they do ever dry out, you can always add a drop of duraline which I buy in Inlgot to make my liners last longer and apply smoother. The purple liner costs €18 and the pink pot costs €19. Both of these liners are waterproof which is a great feature of any liner as you want them to last as long as possible. I absolutely love the colours of these liners and I found them quite easy to use.
All in all I was delighted with all my Make-Up Atelier products and would love to try more in the future. I think colour wise, they have outstanding products and quality wise I will be happy to keep them in my professional kit for when I take on clients.
