Hi All,

Back before Christmas I was in touch with the lovely Louise from  Laveesha Cosmetics, we got chatting and she asked if I would be interested in trying out one of their new products and reviewing it. As my readers will know this was an amazing opportunity for me and one of the very first so I was delighted to accept.

We had discussed what I would try out and we decided on the Chelsea eyeshadow palette. This palette retails at €25.99 When I saw the picture of it on the Facebook page I was a little apprehensive as to whether my skill level would match the colours in the palette but I can say now without fault.... This palette is amazing and so easy to use!

I am still waiting to enroll in a professional make up artist course so I have literally just practiced sitting at home in front of the mirror, brushes laid out and wipes at the ready in case of mistakes but it has all gone really really well. I took inspiration from both YouTube tutorials and also Instagram and there is just so much out there and really easy to do looks if you find the right MUA online to follow.

The Chelsea Palette is a 28 shade palette. It comes in a flat rectangle black case which at the moment did not have a Laveesha logo but this is only because it was in production and the official website will be launched in the next two weeks which is very exciting for Louise and all at Laveesha. The shadows are securely placed inside the palette so no fear of them falling out. As with all shadow products, do be careful not to drop them and break up the colours. The colours have a fabulous pigment with not too much fall off. As many of my readers will know... when working with bright colours that have a pigment in them, I suggest doing your eye makeup first and then going back to do your face. This way you can concentrate on creating a beautiful eye look without thinking of your face. I would also suggest using a good eye shadow base to hold the colour in place and this will also prolong the look.

As you can see the colours are very bright and they range from a White to Yellow, Orange to dark Pink through to Purple and Black. Don't be put off by the colours at all they are amazing.

The first look I created using my palette was a dark look; I used the white dark pink, purple and lighter pink to create this dramatic eye, I also lined the bottom lash line with the purple to really make it stand out. I love a good eye makeup look and since trying this I definitely think I will wear this look out on a night out. I used up to 4 or 5 brushes for this look to ensure the blending was a smooth as I could make it but I was really happy with my 1st attempt.

The second look was more a day time look and I used the palette to create this pinky/coral look for heading to town with the girls one Sunday. Again I really liked how the pigment sat on my lid. I also love how well liner can go over the shadows and not ruin the look at all. This look was much softer and just shows you how you can create easy day time looks with the palette.

And my final look oh ladies.... this was my fave by far! I used the white, yellow, orange, pink and green. I really wanted to try and create a neon look I had seen online. I forgot to add lashes but then again it's the best way to show off all the shadow!

Laveesha Cosmetics have a competition running at the moment with Glow N Go, the aim is a like share and comment competition but this one has a twist, you can attach a pic of your own creative eye or lip work. I have so far entered three times haha a determined woman but I thought it was a great way to showcase the versatility of the Chelsea palette. If you have an interest in eye looks I would highly suggest you purchase this palette and have it ready for the summer sun!

Laveesha Cosmetics is a great brand, getting great reviews from other bloggers who have tried other products such as the contour palette and brushes... you can now also purchase bundles from the LC range including the Chelsea palette...

'Animal Instincts' bundle €65.99
